My passions include working with kids, praising the Lord, traveling, and anything outdoors. I have always had a pretty energetic personality, although I can be a bit more reserved when meeting new people. I work hard to achieve my goals in life, and I set high expectations for myself. One thing that has helped me significantly throughout the years is my need to be organized and have a plan in order to be productive.

GEAC
GEAC stands for Global Education Academic Certification. I had to take four years of Spanish as well as completing global education requirements. I am thankful that through this I have a better understanding of the world and other cultures.

I was in NHS sophomore through senior year in high school. I participated in a number of volunteer opportunities in my community, as well as spreading awareness about global warming and sustainability.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have known that I wanted to work with kids since I was a kid myself. When I was in high school, I had to have surgery, this is when I first learned that Child Life Speciality was a job because I had one. I got to pick her brain about her job and got the lo-down on the pros and cons of the profession. That is when I decided I wanted to become a Child Life Specialist.
- Outside the classroom
My faith is very important to me, so I love congregating with my church community on Sunday mornings and diving into the Lord's word. I love the outdoors and grew up hiking, camping, four-wheeling, biking, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and a variety of other outdoor activities. I also enjoy reading a good mystery or romance novel in my free time. To relax, I enjoy watching a show on Netflix or Hulu with my friends.
