Tyler Johnson

I am a hardworking kid that is currently attending the University of Minnesota. I plan on majoring in biology and minoring in Spanish. I have been involved in a lot throughout high school and I am staying active in college as well. I played three sports throughout my high school career, those being: football, basketball, and baseball. I was awarded captain of the basketball and baseball my senior year. Sports mixed with school taught me a lot of things but most importantly it taught me time management and organizational skills. Never getting a break from sports along with school meant that I had to be on top of my school work as well as my game. Balancing those throughout my four years in high school I feel really prepared me for college. Lastly, I am a determined person that never quits and that is something that I learned from my father who passed away from ALS while I was in the 9th grade. He never gave up and always had a smile on his face every single morning. He was never down and he never made excuses even with his detrimental aliment he had. I inspire to be like him one day as he is my greatest role model.
