About

I am a Organic Agricultural Systems major at Washington State University. I have am in my junior year at the university after transferring from Everett Community College. I am high functioning student and believe that time spent in college is best spent using the resources and making the most of the opportunities the university presents. Prior to my time at WSU, I spent holding multiple jobs, working out, and studying to get my now achieved direct transfer associates degree. Through the multiple jobs I held I developed my skills in customer service, landscaping, farming and nursery management while cultivating an understanding of business. During my time in community college I was on the Dean's list multiple quarters for my academic achievement and was part of National Honors Society while in high school. When I transferred to WSU, I became involved in Greek Life and am now the Vice President of Scholarship for Farmhouse Fraternity. I also took up membership in the school beekeeping club, began volunteering at the University's Organic Farm, and was selected as delegate for AFA's leadership conference in Kansas City, Missouri. I was recently selected for AFA's Policy Institute during National Agriculture Day in Washington D.C and will be discussing the importance of agriculture with US policy makers. My next semester I will be holding an internship researching the value of cover crops in nitrogen management on Organic Farms, which will extend into the Summer.
