Una Bilcar

I have three younger brothers, so my house is the definition of chaos. I love photography, studying (I know.. weird), karate, reading, and talking. If you were to ask any of my friends, they would tell you I could talk endlessly, for days. I really want to pursue a career in medicine, and I would love, more than anything, to contribute to the research field, as well. I am compassionate, ambitious, hardworking, dedicated, and open-minded. I volunteer at Roger Neilson Children's Hospice, where I spend time with the children there. We do anything they want, sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes, not so much. My favourite memory is when we were baking, and this one boy spilled flour EVERYWHERE! Anywho, good times. I also have my black belt in karate, and was National Champion of Canada three years ago. I represented Canada at the World Championships thrice. I founded the Comfort in Cards project, aimed to connect schools across the city in order to bring positivity to families of hospitalized patients.
