About
I completed my bachelor’s degree at Buffalo State College in August of 2011, majoring in Fashion and Textile Technology. A few years later, I decided to attend graduate school at Buffalo State as well for Multidisciplinary Studies. This program has allowed me to further enhance my communication skills and master time management. My creative and technical skills obtained while studying, have allowed me to showcase my designs and ideas across a broad spectrum of media outlets. I have been praised by my management professionals and my colleagues alike for creating new and innovative ideas.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
One of my professional career goals upon completing my graduate studies program includes, creating and offering a free design workshop for underprivileged youth. I think that art and various creative skills allow individuals to express themselves while learning about the core values of creative expression.
Over the summer, I had the privilege of volunteering with middle school kids from P.S 93, in a fashion youth development program. During my time here, I worked closely with the students to create their own upcycled sustainable garments. This allowed the students to bring an old article of clothing, destroy it, and create something new and trendy. At the end of the program, the students walked away with a new garment, made from recycled materials and I walked away with a new love for helping others create something new and innovative. This experience enhanced my love for helping others think outside the box and be more creative with little materials.
