Volunteering
-
I was a member of a student and teacher-led volunteer group in my local high school. The group was comprised of several dozen members who met weekly and was focused on human rights, fair trade treaties, and supporting the environment by actively promoting the use of reusable materials over single-use plastics in our school, for example. As part of this group, I also volunteered by helping assist teachers at a local high school teach young immigrant teenagers German.
