About

I'm an Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician with over 12 years of experience in the healthcare field, including hospital, retail, and clinical settings. I earned my Pharmacy Technician education from Everest College in Tacoma, WA, in 2013 and have since pursued multiple certifications through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), including Technician Product Verification, Billing and Reimbursement, Inventory Management and Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention.

Currently, I work at a critical access hospital, where I’m actively involved in process improvement and patient-centered care. Outside of work, I’m a dedicated caregiver for my grandmother, supporting her through complex medical needs. This experience has deepened my commitment to healthcare advocacy and reinforced the importance of compassion in clinical practice.

I'm applying for scholarships to continue advancing my career, expand my knowledge, and contribute more meaningfully to my patients and community. I’m passionate about lifelong learning, service, and making healthcare more accessible and effective for all.
