Veronica Zieba

As a student at Chelsea High, I have strived to live up to the beliefs of our school by pursuing a challenging education and being an active member of my community. Throughout my four years of high school, I have enrolled in various AP classes including AB Calculus, Physics, and English-related courses. Outside of academics, I furthered my understanding of music through my participation in the marching band as a member, and recently, section leader. I have also made it a habit to be active in my church's community by committing to the role of an assistant teacher for the first-grade classroom every Sunday. As I pursue an electrical engineering degree in college, I intend to hold myself to higher standards. I have currently received offers from my two in-state schools (UAB and Auburn), and am awaiting my out-of-school applications to be reviewed. In my first two years, I will commit myself to the study of my major as well as involve myself in activities like student organizations and volunteering. In my junior year, I intend to apply for Co-op opportunities at places such as Souther Company and/or Alabama Power. This will ultimately serve to expose me to real-world scenarios and help me start applying what I am learning in class to my future career.
