About
I am a sophomore at UHD majoring in Education. Since the young age of 13, I have been working with children in various settings. From babysitting to working as a private nanny, I have had the pleasure of teaching and caring for many children of many different ages. Caring for these children showed me the way to my desired degree. I am so very excited to see where this career takes me.
Being that I have worked with many children, I have also seen how each child's mind develops differently. That being said, I quickly developed an interest in Psychology. From the adolescent mind to the adult, fully formed mind I have become intrigued with the human brain and psyche. I intend on getting my Master's in Psychology after I finish my Education degree and eventually becoming an LPC (Perhaps when I retire, or after several years of teaching).
I am excited and look forward to all of the many wonderful opportunities and stimulating knowledge this career path will provide me with.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Upon completion of school, I would like to teach at the Elementary school level. Ideally 2nd grade. After teaching for a while I intend to get my master's degree in Psychology and become an LPC.
- Graduate school interests
I intend on getting my masters in both Education and Psychology.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include but are not limited to: singing, playing my guitar, being with family, being with children, visiting museums, reading, writing, and cooking
