About

I have always viewed myself as one with capabilities to solves problems such as how to change the boss' schedule when unexpected obligations turn up. I also troubleshoot conflicts among office personnel and work with vendors to ensure that orders are fulfilled as requested, invoices are paid and refunds or exchanges are processed. As a multitasker, I keep myself organized so I can give my attention to keeping my boss organized. I know how to manage a filing system, track incoming and outgoing correspondence and coordinate the flow of paperwork around the office. When it comes to my written expressions, as an administrative assistant, I possess good writing skills and always improving the quality of correspondence, emails and memos as well as proofreading important documents
As an entrepreneur for over six years marketing, advertising, networking, and maintaining productive revenue, while researching for top of the line supplies and equipment, I am great at creating databases, excel spreadsheets.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I have always portrayed a vision as a youth advocate and maintained a non-profit in the field of being a voice for our youth, and previous to that, I dedicated my interest on the criminal justice system and how the day-to-day operations functioned with its wide range and various components while establishing rules and regulations to govern our society.

I am great at multitasking, along with ability to manage a filing system, track incoming and outgoing correspondence and coordinate the flow of paperwork around your office. I have skills in standard written English and, in some organizations, business English, my service is also good when it comes to troubleshooting conflicts among office personnel, working with vendors to ensure that orders are fulfilled as requested, invoices are paid out. I do research in order to have sufficient resources at my disposal to complete projects on time. I am a motivator, who loves to smile and keep individuals in a positive state of mind.

Graduate school interests

While attending school as an online student I find myself able to commence with my classmates and instructors in each seminar and that allows me to gain the interest, opinions, thoughts, and visions of each and every one of them. I do appreciate that I am online because it allows me to be a full time mom, and work full time as well.

Outside the classroom

Spending time with my now, 17 year old daughter, Niya. Niya is my pride and joy. She is not attending Morgan State University. We have both been a part of serving our communities. Let me take you back a little bit, during my time working as a volunteer in the 80's, just doing so much with the youth, in the Brooklyn neighborhood I grew up in was the best. I consider my hobbies to be those that will continue to educate, motivate, and provide leadership skills, as well as enforcing the skills towards a better tomorrow. I love working to build, instill, enhance our future youth aiding them in the roles needed to make this world more empathic and understanding, loving as well as more accepting of each other. My hobbies are just making people smile, doing what is right and just in society, I love to write, create poetry, and design my 3-D greeting cards that put a smile on the face of any and everyone that I provide them to.
