Vivian Ricciardi

Born in Sicily and raised as a military brat, I have had the privilege of experiencing diverse cultures and perspectives, shaping my drive for academic excellence and global understanding. With a 4.0 GPA, I have cultivated a strong foundation in Biology, serving as a TA during my senior year and providing private tutoring to Italian students to help them excel in language proficiency. My passion for addressing global issues led me to participate in Model United Nations, where I collaborated with peers from around the world in Prague to discuss and tackle pressing international challenges. Balancing my love for science and crime investigation, I am deeply committed to pursuing a career as a forensic technician. I am currently pursuing my Associate's in General Studies at UMGC. I plan to use this time at UMGC to gain the necessary skills to build a strong foundation in biological sciences, complete prerequisite coursework, and prepare for advanced studies that will support my goal of pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a future career in forensic science.
