About

At 29 years old, I have considered myself extremely lucky to have found the woman of my dreams, be a father to an incredible 6 month old daughter, and cater to my rather spoiled 2 year old boxer named Barley. Both my wife and I love to travel, hike, camp, and experience new cultures and ways of thinking. I have had the honor to work and learn from some of the most well-versed and talented individuals in the restaurant industry. The service industry exposed me to vital skill sets such as: learning how to set up monitoring systems for products and employees, learning how to motivate employees and increase efficiency, learning how to effectively establish and portray a company brand, and how to effectively manage my time. I have been able to utilize all of these skill sets across industries to succeed in each position I have held. My professional experiences have helped me to excel in the Lubar School of Business' MBA program and I look to further my growth and education in my future career. I bring a positive attitude and energy to the work place, and my ability to effectively communicate has helped me to quickly build positive relationships both in and out of the work-place. Currently, I would like to re-enter the private industry with a progressive company that seeks to bring an innovate product or service to the market.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I currently work for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Bureau of Natural Heritage Conservation, as a Conservation Biologist. However, I would like to work my way back into the private industry. I am interested in getting involved with progressive companies that continually strive to innovate, either with products, target markets, or in house operations.

Graduate school interests

I have found myself to be very interested in "Marketing", "Investments", and "Consulting" during my tenure at the Lubar School of Business, UW - Milwaukee.

Outside the classroom

I greatly enjoy the outdoors. My wife and I camp and hike often. I enjoy going on scenic runs with my dog (Barley - Boxer) and love to travel.
