About
My name is Whitney Johnson. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I graduated from Fossil Ridge High School and education has always been extremely important to me. I began my college studies in the Fall of 2016 at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I have become an active member in a couple of organizations, one of which I hold two officer positions for. In order to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a Physical Therapist, I know the challenges that lie ahead. They include high academic performance, lots of volunteer work, job shadowing and internships. I am currently on track with a great GPA and am staying involved. The stresses are real, but the end result will make it all worth it.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Ultimately I plan to become a Physical Therapist. I would specifically like to work with sports injury patients to help them overcome their physical setbacks, get back into their game and maintain a healthy body so they can perform at their ultimate best.
- Graduate school interests
In order to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas, you must obtain your doctorate. Therefore I plan to attend a graduate school where I will focus on earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy the outdoors, especially the summertime, lake-side. Boating, camping, jet-skiing. Spending lots of time with family, friends and those I care most about are always atop my list of hobbies.
