About

I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with an added on administrative credential from National University in Fresno, California. I am studying to become an administrator in the public school system. Growing up, I was raised in Clovis, California where my mother was nurse and my father was a bookstore manager at California State University, Fresno. During my journey through education I was heavily involved in music. Involvement included concert band, marching band, winter percussion, concert percussion, and Fresno-Madera County Music Educators Association Honor band (3 years). During these times I realized I enjoyed being in the school system, participating in organizations that filled me with joy, and building relationships with peers. Upon graduation I pursued my undergraduate degree at California State University, Fresno, in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Studies. During this time I began working with students with autism (K-12), students who were in severely disabled classrooms, students who are emotionally disturbed, and students who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing who use American Sign Language as their primary modes of communication. Falling in love with working with students, I finished my undergraduate degree, pursued my multiple subject credential through California State University, Fresno. I have advanced my educational journey while currently teaching to obtain my Masters of Science degree in Educational Leadership with an added on administrative credential.
