About
I have always been interested in how things work, so naturally with that curiosity comes disassembled objects. I took apart a laptop computer that would not turn on one day. When I took it apart, cleaned it and reassembled it, it worked. This is when I decided to pursue information technology. I attended college and did great in all my classes, I was awarded the Dean's list every semester and ultimately left with a 3.75 Cumulative GPA. During my time at the college, I obtained 2 important IT certifications (CompTIA A+ and Net +), became certified to handle and install fiber optic networking equipment and later on, accumulated a few more proprietary certificates from Cisco and Adtran vWLAN, just to name a few. I then went on to become the Owner/Operator of the largest and most popular computer repair business within a 60-mile radius. As time went on, I realize that my true passion lies within atoms and elements, subatomic particles and energy light spectrum that still baffle the greatest scientific minds of today. So, I went back to school with the intent on getting my PhD in Chemistry. I currently attend Michigan Technological University and look forward to many research fields I can get into.
