William Nieves

Hello! Hope you are doing well. My name is William Nieves and I was born in raised in Newark, New Jersey. From the beginning, I have been exposed to a rich, diverse culture in a beautiful urban environment. I have encountered my share of challenging obstacles throughout my 23 years of life. Nonetheless, I have been able to overcome such adversities through a strong support system from my family. I am motivated both intrinsically and externally to bring honor to my family as the first college graduate in my family I am currently a senior student in Rutgers University. My majors are Criminal Justice and Psychology. I have enjoyed acquiring applicable knowledge over my years at this university. The strong diversity found within campus has allowed for analysis of multiple perspectives that may not be considered in universities that do not share a multitude of cultures infused within their school. Rutgers, in Newark, is considered the most diverse campus, and has enriched my experience over the years. I am proud to be a graduate of Rutgers - Newark. In my spare time, I like to read and spend time with my baby niece. Thank you for your time in reading this short synopsis about me. I look forward to getting to meet you.
