About

I am a freshman student at Washington State University. I grew up on a wheat farm in the Pacific Northwest, loved playing sports and going on adventures with friends, and I am very close with my family, both immediate and extended. Ever since I was younger, I have always had the desire to hold a profession where I could truly help others and make a positive difference for their life and their family's life. My dreams include getting the most out of everything I accomplish in my life, which will hopefully include going to college, traveling, finding a career, getting married, and having a family.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope to become an Occupational Therapist with a specialty in geriatrics. As I first begin working, I think it would be amazing to travel to jobs around the country until I feel like I am ready to settle down , which is when I will begin working towards becoming a strong, experienced Occupational Therapist. Eventually, my career hopes include being involved in creating a "Senior Center" that has all the possible needs (therapy, nutrition, doctor check-ups, even activity centers) for elderly people in a very convinient system for not only the patient but the caregivers as well.

Graduate school interests

After I graduate from WSU with a bachelors in Human Development, I hope to attend a professional Occupational Therapy school that is further away from home, so I can start making new adventures. I hope to do lots of internships, job shadows, and volunteer work in my field during all of my years of schooling so I truly feel prepared when my turn finally comes around.

Outside the classroom

I love animals, playing sports, crafting, boating or fishing on the lakes in Washington and Idaho, snowboarding, making memories with my friends, having family time, riding horses, and many other little things that take up my spare time.
