About
I am currently a Biology (pre-health) major at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. I originally come from Ghana, West Africa, where my family live and work as crop (cocoa and rice) farmers. My love for farming and gardening can be traced back to the times when I used to help my parents on the farm. I would never trade those times for anything. They have taught me to become the resilient and the hardworking young man that I am now.
In addition to farming and gardening, I have always had an unrelenting passion for science and transformational leadership. In high school, in Ghana, I became a member of the student government association and the president of the Scripture Union where I worked selflessly with other executives of the group. After high school, my passion for science and my desire to grow in a culturally diverse and a more challenging community led me to begin my college education in the United States. I am currently majoring and minoring in Biology and Chemistry respectively at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. At Northwestern, I have received several awards and honors including the President honor roll, the Vice President honor roll, the Red and Black Scroll, etc as a result of my exceptional academic skills and my involvement of campus activities.
I have very big dreams for the future, dreams to serve humanity and help to improve the living conditions of people around the world, especially those living in less developed communities. After obtaining my bachelor's degree, I will be going on to do my masters degree in physician assistance. This will help me offer better healthcare for people.
