About

I cannot obtain my high school transcript electronically at the moment, and my college course one costs money to get, which I don’t have. I’ll admit that I did slack in school for my first two years, but that poor decision affected me greatly. Once I realized how important taking school seriously was, I pushed myself to make up for the past and rose my 1.8 GPA to just shy of a 3.1 by the time I finished in February. I even took a college course this year in criminal justice at Pikes Peak Community College which I earned a 3.8 GPA in. I hope that accomplishment shows how dedicated I am to school now and how hard I plan on working to gain as much knowledge in my passions as I can.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I would love to be an agronomist and engineer soils/work with plants, but I’d be happy in any career that allowed me to work with plants somehow and encouraged new ideas and research. I also hope to keep learning in many areas of science so I can always gain new skills and work in many aspects of the science fields. In a perfect world that would mean I’d end up engineering a soil for a company like Miracle Gro, or even pursuing further knowledge in fuel sciences and working with ExxonMobil to make plant based fuels. I just want a career that tries to make an impact on the many aspects of life our planet has.

Graduate school interests

I would love to pursue a masters degree in my field of study if I can land a job that allows me the time and income to do so after I receive my bachelors.

Outside the classroom

I want to volunteer more which thankfully I’ll have the opportunity to do at Buena Vista University, the college I’ll be attending. I mainly just read, go hiking, or play video games other than that.
