Hi There,
My name is Yahir and I am currently majoring in Communications Design at New York City College of Technology. My concentration is in Film and TV production and I am very passionate about pursuing a career in Post-production once I complete my degree. I am really excited to be inducted into the HonorSociety and I have plans to make the most out of my membership experience. I am really excited to meet new people from similar and not so similar career paths and to connect with peers across the nation.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to work in the Film and TV production industry. I will like to specifically work in the Post-Production aspect of the production cycle as a video editor splicing everything together and creating an overall cohesive end product for the audiences.
- Graduate school interests
I am currently pursuing my undergraduates degree and once I complete it I intend on diving right into my desired field. I have no plans to pursue anything above my undergrad, but I do however have an open mind to continuing my education if the right school catches my interest.
- Outside the classroom
For my hobbies, I enjoy watching and analyzing films. There are a few directors that I truly admire and I love exploring different genre's of film. I also enjoy editing personal video projects in my spare time as well as reading books. I would say my favorite genre of books would have to be the ones that fall in the classic american literature. Examples of these would be books such as "The Catcher in the Rye" and "To Kill a Mockingbird."
