Yajaira Hausman

Currently I am a graduate student in a clinical mental health counseling program at Southern New Hampshire University. I received my bachelors in Psychology with a concentration in mental health from SNHU. While obtaining my bachelors, I also graduated as Magna Cum Laude. I have worked as a registered behavior technician (RBT) in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) specifically working with children who are diagnosed with Autism for five years. Although I no longer work, I am now a first time mom while completing my graduate requirements. I have had a passion for mental health for as long as I can remember and continue to enjoy bringing awareness surrounding the importance of mental health within our society. I enjoy being a voice for those who feel they do not have one as well as advocating for those who have been silenced due to lack of accessibility and resources to receive mental health services. I plan to one day open my own practice and cater to lower socioeconomic communities.
