About
Hi! I’m Yamna Sheikh, a Running Start student with a strong interest in finance and management and a commitment to making a positive impact in my community. I am fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, and I value communication and cultural understanding as essential tools for connection, leadership, and service.
I actively seek opportunities that challenge me to grow academically and personally, believing that meaningful growth comes from stepping outside of one’s comfort zone and continuously learning. This mindset guides my approach to both my studies and my involvement in school and community activities.
My long-term goal is to become a financial advisor or consultant, where I can help individuals and families build secure and informed financial futures. I am especially passionate about financial literacy as a means of empowerment and equity, and I am dedicated to developing the skills, integrity, and knowledge needed to make a meaningful difference. Being part of the National Honor Society reflects my commitment to excellence, service, and using my abilities to contribute positively to others.
