2017 Deanna Pickard Award for Poetry
After winning this award I received $200 that went toward my tuition and read my poem at the award ceremony.
Goals and interests
- Graduate school interests
Since I was incredibly young, I always knew I wanted to go to grad school and get that Masters degree. Although I'm not certain which field I want to go into (English or International Studies), I know that this is still a goal I am set on.
- Outside the classroom
I love reading contemporary novels and poetry and I occasionally write my own poetry. I enjoy yoga, spending time with my family and making new connections with different people.
