Yasmine Cohens

My name is Yasmine Cohens , I’ve always has the dream of furthering my education and becoming a Casting Director, I attend Full Sail University my major is film. When I was a little girl, I would always pretend that I owned and ran my own show. As I acted out all of the roles, I would write down my thoughts and feelings to keep them for future reference. I believed that one day those creative and imaginative writings would remind me of a younger version of myself to achieve my dreams. Writing and creating shows for people to watch and casting my friends for the different roles I enjoyed doing that is my passion. I would love to be around others that share the same dream of being in the industry of casting talent for film roles would be amazing. I believe that being around others with similar thoughts can help increase the potential of furthering my understanding for casting. I’ve had numerous experience with the different types of entertainment such as shadowing at Fox 5 Atlanta News station and 11 alive News station, shadowing Karen Greer. Next I was able to shadow at V103 radio station with my mentor Sytonnia Moore, and being the camera operator for my church, also being a production assistant for acting showcases and finally being a media correspondent for sports wire magazine!
