About
Yazan Abbas is a 20 year old Sudanese-American Animation Student and digital artist, currently studying at Mt. San Antonio College. Having lived in the East Coast, Sudan, and multiple other locations as a marginalized queer and transgender man, the themes of identity, intimacy, and resisting adversity are all deeply engrained into his work. From a young age, Yazan (also known as YZINX/ZENIMATOR) has had a passion for the visual arts and its means of both escapism and recovery. His artwork ranges from lighthearted, comedic, and fantastical material-- to 'harshly realistic' reflections of the past and present.
He has experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as ToonBoom Harmony & Storyboard Pro, and other Industry-Standard softwares. His current skillset consists of Illustration, Character Design and Development, 2D Animation, and Motion Graphics.
