About
I am a Public Health student in the Rutgers University Honors College with a strong interest in Environmental Health, Epidemiology, and Global Health. My experiences studying in South Korea, the Philippines, and the United States have given me a global perspective on health disparities and community well-being. Through healthcare volunteering with NYU Langone and RWJBarnabas Health, involvement with the New Jersey Public Health Association, and academic excellence, I am committed to improving health outcomes and creating healthier communities through research, prevention, and public service.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My long-term goal is to pursue graduate studies in Environmental Health and build a career in public health research and community health improvement. I am particularly interested in environmental exposures, epidemiology, health disparities, and global public health initiatives. I hope to gain experience through environmental health research, internships, and international public health programs before pursuing a master's degree. Ultimately, I aspire to contribute to research, policy, and community-based programs that improve health outcomes, expand health equity, and create healthier environments for vulnerable populations around the world.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Environmental Health with interests in environmental justice, community health, and global public health. Through graduate study, research, and internship experiences, I hope to better understand how environmental factors influence health outcomes and develop solutions that improve the well-being of communities. In the future, I hope to contribute to public health and sustainability efforts through organizations such as UNICEF, public health agencies, or corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and ESG initiatives that promote healthier and more equitable communities.
- Outside the classroom
Walking, nature photography, environmental science, marine life, wildlife conservation, Earth science, traveling, and learning about global environmental issues. I also enjoy discussing science and environmental topics with my father and exploring how environmental factors influence human health.
