I am a senior at Texas Woman's University majoring in kinesiology. I was born and raised in Vietnam. I moved to America about ten years ago and currently live in Denton, Texas. I got into kinesiology major since both my mom and a 5 year-old nephew were in need of help with their physical conditions. After incidents that both my mom and nephew faced, I have always been curious and try to understand about the principal of kinesiology applies to the body to hopefully be able to help mom and nephew and people in general to have a better understanding when it comes to activities and exercises. Studying human movement can provide insights into physiological, neural and psychological adaptations to exercise and help prevent injury, lifestyles diseases and other physiological conditions, enhance human performance in environments such as work and sport.
