About

Yesul graduated from University of New England where she challenged herself both on campus and in the community to strive for excellence. On campus, she was a tutor for the student academic success center, a researcher in the field of microbiology, and a mentor to pre-dental students. In the community, she worked as a dental assistant for community members, and as a Korean teacher to second-generation Korean-Americans that wanted to learn more about their culture. This Fall, Yesul will be attending University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry to pursue her dreams of becoming a dentist. She hopes that with this knowledge, she is able to give back to the community and educate more people about the importance of oral health in relation to the rest of the body.
