About
A former finance professional in China, Yun Song has rebuilt her life in the US. Majoring in business at Oakton, Yun has excelled in challenging courses such as calculus and accounting. She not only has earned a near-perfect GPA but also is active in campus life. A student ambassador for the TRIO program, she has recruited numerous first-generation college students into the program and provided them with academic help. She’s currently starting a dance club for the school. Besides dancing, she also loves fitness training, jogging, traveling, and cooking. Having benefitted from many opportunities afforded underprivileged students, Yun vows to give back to the community by continuing to excel in academics and service.
