About
I am in the career program at school so I work in the mornings. At school I take: anatomy, theatre arts, dual credit English IV and dual credit Government. Currently I have a 3.6 GPA. I am in National Honor Society where I am Vice President. I am in FCA, and FCCLS. I am in UIL Literary Criticism: First Placing Team 10th grade and First Placing Team, 3rd place individually 11th grade; One Act Play 11th grade, District Overall Best Technical Crew; Area Best Technical Crew; State First Runner Up. 11th-12th grades I have a short story published in a book titled “I am Texas”.
I am the mascot at my school currently. I dance 4 days a week in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary and hip-hop. I work a Concho Coffee House 3-4 mornings each week. I also sing in my praise and worship band at Christoval Baptist Church, where I am actively involved in my youth group.
I have been in musical theater since 2012 and recreational dance 2015-present. I also was in competition dance from 2019-2021. I stepped out of local theater and competition dance in 2021 to be more active in school, one act play, mascot, UIL, and to be more active in my church. I want to go to university and study musical theatre and dance. Keeping busy and involved in local community theatre and dance, recreational and competition, with the hours of training and dedication, has lead me to this place where it’s all I want to do. I don’t have a backup plan. My life goal is to go to college for musical theater, earn a degree, graduate and tour nationally and internationally on the stage. Eventually I will open up my own studio for dance in the small town I grew up in.
