About

Throughout my education, my transcripts will reflect a strong foundation in biology-related subjects that are integral to my degree. From introductory courses in biology and cell biology to more specialized classes in genetics, physiology, and biochemistry, each course has contributed to my understanding of the biological sciences. These courses have provided me with the essential knowledge required for my future career goals, particularly in the field of medicine.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to become an orthopedic surgeon because I’m passionate about helping people regain mobility and improve their quality of life. I’ve always been fascinated by the musculoskeletal system and the way bones, joints, and muscles work together. Orthopedic surgery combines problem-solving and hands-on work, allowing me to make a direct impact on patients' lives, whether it's treating injuries or managing chronic conditions. The field is constantly evolving with new technologies, which excites me and offers endless opportunities for growth.

Graduate school interests

One of my primary interests in graduate school is preparing for medical school. As I dive deeper into my studies, I find myself increasingly drawn to the field of medicine, particularly in how it combines scientific knowledge with direct patient care. Graduate school has provided me with a solid foundation in the life sciences, and I see it as an essential stepping stone toward becoming a physician. The more I learn about the complexities of human health, the more I am motivated to continue my education in medical school and eventually contribute to improving patient outcomes.

Outside the classroom

in my free time, I enjoy playing the violin and reading true crime documentaries. Playing the violin allows me to express my creativity and unwind while developing discipline and focus through practice. The intricate nature of music helps me cultivate patience and attention to detail, which are essential skills in both my academic and personal life. Additionally, I am fascinated by true crime documentaries, as they offer a deep dive into real-life mysteries and human psychology. These documentaries not only entertain me but also sharpen my critical thinking and analytical skills, which I apply in various aspects of my studies and problem-solving.
