Scam Watch Network — Stay Informed & Protected
Helping Students and Families Spot Scams
At Honor Society®, your safety and success matter to us. Scammers often target students and young professionals with fake offers, misleading messages, and phishing attacks. To help protect you, we created the Scam Watch Network — a free, public resource dedicated to raising awareness about common fraud schemes and giving you the tools to recognize them.
What the Scam Watch Network Does
-
-Shares real-world updates and alerts about current student-targeted scams.
-
-Offers practical guidance so you and your community can avoid fraud.
-
-Connects students, families, and educators with trusted information on recognizing deceptive or suspicious activity.
-
-Encourages users to report scams so others can learn from them.
This service is available to everyone — you do not need to be a member to access these alerts or learn how to protect yourself.
Have you spotted something suspicious?
Tell us about it through our secure reporting form so we can help keep others informed.
Why This Matters
Scammers frequently use:
-
-Misleading emails or texts that appear official.
-
-Fake “honor society” or “scholarship” invitations that aren’t connected to real organizations.
-
-Phishing links or requests for personal information.
Learning how to recognize these tactics can protect your identity, finances, and peace of mind. Awareness is the best defense.
