Jimyma Dolores

My name is Jimyma Grace Dolores and I am a sophomore at LSU in Shreveport, Louisiana. My first year of college, I was pre-med, but because I decided to major in something I would actually enjoy, I decided to change to Elementary Education during the last semester of my first year. I want to become a teacher because I think students are the future, as cliche as that sounds. All of my teachers from kindergarten to college have been a big help to me and have impacted my life in many ways. My biggest goal in my career is to impact a student's life and help them make a better future for the next generation. Like my teachers have done for me, I want to help my future students achieve their goals and aspirations as much as I can.
