About

I am currently pursing an Associate's degree in Nursing at Chattachoochee Technical College. Being the oldest of 4 siblings has instilled in me a passion for taking care of, helping, and teaching those around me. I attended Joseph Wheeler Magnet High School for Science, Math, and Technology where I found my second passion, science. More specifically molecular biology and anatomy. I had the chance to live in my birth place of Peru for 9 months after graduating from Wheeler. During this time I was made of aware of the lack of access that the majority of the population has to basic healthcare and health related information. It was this experience that motivated me to be an active member of the medical field. My goal is to provide this basic necessity to those around me.

Goals and interests

Career goal: My career goal is to open a clinic as a nurse practitioners.
Graduate school interests: After graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College's Associate of Science in Nursing I plan to further my education by enrolling in Kennesaw state University's Bachelor's Bridge program.
Outside the classroom: Currently, my hobbies include knitting, reading, and cooking. Throughout middle school and high school I played the cello as an extracurricular. Sadly as the instruments that I played were owned by the school I have not been able to practice. However, I am saving up to buy my own cello.
