Robert Ross Bartholomew II

Research and policy advocacy aimed to improve the lives of those faced with hardship and/or oppression. Robert intends to work with community and national legislators on finding creative and directed methods to assist these populations. He would concurrently provide further empirical evidence to the current literature in order to improve all professionals' understandings of at-risk populations.

Graduate school interests revolve around the assessment, transcription, and advocacy of social welfare policies and research on community levels. His current interests center on positive psychology research in applied settings.

Robert's hobbies include working with the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma to advocate for positive change in Oklahoma communities. He is also an avid soccer enthusiast as he has previously coached two full seasons as a head coach with the local YMCA and plays pick-up games at the local parks. Roberts also works part-time as a graduate research assistant and dedicates even more weekly hours to conducting proper research with the University of Oklahoma.
