About
My achievements include I was recently awarded Emil L. Battaglia and Suzanne Sullivan Battaglia Memorial Scholarship for my commitment and work in Bilingual Education. I would be a great fit for the honor society because of my ability to overcome adversity. Years ago, I stopped attending college because I was a victim of domestic abuse. With such, I did poorly in school, but decided to come back to school with the determination to finish because I refuse to let influence my future. Now, I am a senior at Brooklyn College with a 3.79 grade point average. I am civically engaged within Brooklyn communities as I believe it is important give back to others. My passion for public service, helping others, and performing well academically is what best suits me to be a member of the honor society,
