About
I am a highly motivated student especially when it comes to my future career. I graduated as a junior from High school circa 2012. I then attended Laredo Community College and received my Associate’s Degree. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in the class of 2014 at age 18. During my time at Laredo Community College, I was a Supplemental Instructor Aid for History. I gained social interactions skills and remained to keep my classes as first priority. I believe my focus, dedication, and motivation will help me strive to succeed my goals of becoming a Neuroinformatic scientist.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Personally, I have always had affection towards research. I have juggled between majors such as Pre-Med, Biology, and Biomedical Engineering. Each attempt at these different majors did not captivate me as Bioinformatics has. Once I gained an increase awareness and acceptance of the importance of big data and data sharing, I longed to advance in the field. Utilizing traditional bioinformatics as my foundation I can be able to develop databases, standards, tools and models for levels of the nervous system organization. I would be extremely overjoyed to research and work with the human brain with simulation and analytical techniques in order to help patients and the community as my lifelong career.
