Hello everyone out there my name is Sam! I graduated from Kewaunee in 2015 but being able to graduate was not an easy task, it was rough and at some points I thought I wasn't going to make it. All my life I had suffered from seizures. It made school extremely difficult because I wasn't able to keep up with my fellow classmates. When it came to senior year, when it comes to college applications, college level testing, when everything rides down to the final stretch, was rough. All the hopes and dreams I had once planned for college and beyond that were almost in my reach seemed miles away when my seizure got worse, when them became grand mal seizures. However, one day everything changed. That day was the day I had surgery. The day I had part of brain removed. The day that ended my suffering. Since that day I haven't had another seizure.
