Travis Damuth

I am currently pursuing finishing my degree in Applied Economics, Applied Business and Sustainability within the Inter-college program through the college of continuing education. This is my first time being able to finish my degree directed in something I am truly passionate about. Being able to combine all of these areas will help me further my entrepreneurial spirit. I plan on working towards opening up smart sustainable homes that are economically affordable. I have been in and out of college since 2005 since I graduated high school, where I was unsure as to what I wanted to pursue. I was able to afford about a semester at a time until I took a break in the past two years to truly figure out what and where I wanted to go with my education. I now am doing my directed degree and am proud to be close to graduating with a Baccalaureate in Science. I have been working a part-time job and running a painting Franchise, where I was able to generate 35k in sales in about 3 months, while going to school in order to pay for school. So, finishing this degree and schooling in general is extremely important to me. To me having the opportunity to achieve a directed degree is something more valuable then to just go to school without passion. Receiving any scholarships will be a huge stepping stone in understanding everything I can accomplish. I appreciate you reading my profile. Thank you for this opportunity.
