About
Greetings,
My name is Cyndi Odipo and I am a recent graduate from Walden University. Originally born and raised in Kenya, my family and I at the tender age of 10 years old moved to the United States to pursue a dream of a better life. As a young child in Kenya I observed how locals struggled with proper health maintenance and sanitation. However, this has improved over the years. Additionally, health practices in Kenya even though still not adequate comparative to western countries, personally influenced a drive to become a practicing physician. Many individuals suffer poor health treatment, due to affordability and accessibility. Therefore, as a current fourth year medical student, and with a public health degree I hope to positively impact the health infrastructure of Kenya.
