Grad School Interests

Having received a BFA degree in Art History and a minor in Museum Studies in just 2 ½ years has allowed me to ascertain an excellent understanding of art culture and art cultivation. My passion not only lies in the history of art and science but also in the processes behind them. My undergraduate thesis with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) explored infrared reflectography (IRR) studies in the underdrawing of paintings between the works of Hans Memling and Rogier van der Weyden. I am currently attending Johns Hopkins University's Krieger School of Art and Science Advanced Academic Program for a Master's in Museum Studies and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management.

Intended Job Path

My goals are to work with a museum as a curator.

Hobbies

My experience and education have taught me that history can pave the way for creative minds, communities, and cultures to meld together. Museums are a direct representation of history and therefore items should be preserved, cared for, and interpreted so they may enlighten individuals about the past, present, and future.
