Rebecca Lizalde

I am Currently a student at Waubonsee Community college, at first I knew what I wanted to do and that was Nursing. I had to start from the bottom with all my class like Math, English. It took me a while to get into the higher classes because my scores for Act were not high at all go get into a university. It was a tough road because I felt i was not smart enough for anybody for school also. Once i got into the higher class it was tough and i told myself that i would never give up as long as it gets tough. Life is not easy and because things get tough does not mean I should give up. Once i started taking nursing classes and i sat there and realized i want to help people but i am not sure if i want to help people in the medical way. I talked ot my counselor on what i should do and finally talking and figuring out who I am. I have finally decided finally going into Criminal Justice because i know i can help people in my manys. I will be the first one in my family to graduate for assoicates and Bachelors and i will not give up on anything.
