Extremely focused and highly driven, I undertake all scholastic pursuits with dogged diligence and dedication. I am a twenty-two-year-old senior at Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York with a passion for mathematics: problem-solving, analyzing, logic, developing strategies. In addition, I minor in the discipline of environmental science.
My goal is to earn my Ph.D in Mathematics as I broaden my horizon, gain experience, understand key concepts, growing and developing as an individual while simultaneously effecting meaningful changes in the nation’s Math education program.
Priding myself as a finalist for Jamaica's Rhodes Scholarship 2017, my passion and ultimate life goal is to use education to make a change on a macro scale particularly where people of low socioeconomic backgrounds are of dire concern. All things considered, I want to make useful contributions in science that will create a positive and lasting change for generations to come while simultaneously improving the quality of life for all living things.
