Nicholas Thompson

I am Nicholas Richard-Thompson, poet, writer, and filmmaker. I am Television Major with a focus in writing and producing. What I exactly want to do with that, is get into staff writing and eventually begin to produce my own series. Also, I know one day I would like to start my own independent studio, creating content that is both informative and entertaining. I I've always felt the majority of the world's problems stem from misinformation and misunderstanding, but through, visual mediums you can challenge negative stereotypes and change people's perception. The media we watch heavily plays a role in how we perceive the world and our view of the current cultural and ethical climate. I believe the most influential mediums we have in our culture today, would be music, movies, and television. So it is my goal to utilize these mediums, in hopes that one day, I can help aid progression.
