Nicolo Jimenez

As a biology major, I am very interested in the physiology and anatomy of the human body. My fascination for the matter dates back to my tenure in high school. When I was a sophomore, one of my teachers encouraged us to shadow physicians at our local hospital to determine what medical careers interested us the most. I shadowed an otolaryngologist, or ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) physician. The combination of amazement for the field of medicine those doctors practiced, and the motivation and support from both friends and family; made me realize that this is the end goal for me as a person who wishes to be involved in medicine. As I continue to study both in the medical field and the human body from a holistic approach, I will become one step closer to achieving my dream. After I graduate from college this time next year, I will be enrolled in a medical school continuing my medical education that will result in my goal of obtaining my doctorate's degree.
