About
I am currently an elementary education student with a focus in learning disabilities at Aquinas College. The reason I am studying learning disabilities, a form of special education, is because throughout my time before starting college, I was in the special education program at school. That is mainly because I have a form of Autism called Asperger Syndrome, but I don't let my Autism get in the way. In fact, my Autism is the reason I am studying learning disabilities. I would be able to have a connection with my students, and the parents in the program, to have a better understanding what it is like to be a special education program, and for my students to be proud of who they are.
