Goals and interests
- Career goal
I've been attending Howard Community College for 4 years as a part-time student majoring in Pre-Veterinary medicine. However, I realized that I did nto see myself becoming a vet. I really enjoy the work I do as an assistant at the orthopedic practice and the regular vet office I am employed at now. But, I would love more responsibilities so I've decided to change my career path to becoming a veterinary technician instead of a veterinarian. I will be taking online vet tech courses at San Juan College starting in the spring of 2017.
- Graduate school interests
Since I am not going to Vet school anymore, grad school is not an interest for me at the moment. I am currently enrolled in San Juan's online veterinary technician program and I am excited to complete it and take the VTNE to become a licensed veterinary technician.
