About
I'm a non-traditional 29 year old student who left bartending to try and better my life. I knew that I had a decent brain as I was made to memorize countless recipes and perform mental math on the spot at my job. However, not surprisingly, the job felt toxic. So I went back to school, picked a major I figured would lead to something better, and I'm now in my second semester with a 4.0. Hopefully I can continue down that road.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I currently hold a part-time job as a registered pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy. I plan to become certified within the next year, and have this be a permanent part time job until I'm fully established in my career of choice. That career of choice would be medical laboratory science. It would be great to grab hold of a job in a hospital lab, preferably microbiology or blood banking.
- Graduate school interests
I have my eye on UW Madison's Bacteriology Masters program. They work with students who already have jobs in the laboratory and seem to be flexible with class schedules.
- Outside the classroom
Hiking, rock climbing (indoor), reading, playing the piano, pistol shooting
