About

My name is Denise Flores, I am a 35 year old returning student. Twelve years ago i was forced to quit school in order to work and learn how to be a responsible parent. I finally got direction and vision for my life when I gave my life to Christ so I decided to return to school. I attended a community college for most of my general studies credits for two years and transferred to the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley in the fall of 2016. I hope to graduate in the summer of 2018 with my Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in addiction studies.
