After qualifying national test for admission to graduate courses, I got admitted into an institute of national Importance School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada. I pursued my bachelor's in physical planning for four years. It was a great experience taking up such a professional course which deals with the issues of community, rapid urbanization, environmental degradation, etc. I understood the functioning of the city and people in with various perspectives. Throughout the course, I developed my professional and managerial skills. To gain practical experience, I have done two short-term internships in two international firms involved in Urban Planning and Consultancy (Lea Associates South Asia Pvt. Ltd. And Aarvee Associates). Furthermore, I had volunteered for two NGOs (Centre for Environment Protection Research and Development and Make a difference).

My personal life experience and academics resulted in a desire to know more about the city planning. I have come across many cities as a part of curriculum exercises such as Port City- Haldia, Educational hub- Dharwad, Market Hub- Vijayawada and much more. I understand the importance of development and would like to address the challenges of sustainable development. Currently, as partial fulfillment of a bachelor degree, I am doing my thesis study on project management and decision-making process. It is indispensable that the urban project plans are put into effect. I believe that the failure of many projects has resulted due to delayed decision-making process. There is further a great scope of research in the field of practically implementing the development plans. I would like to explore more about how developed countries have successfully implemented plans. I am also interested in preparing spatial plans and coming up with innovative solutions to address the issues of the society.
